We recently put our TV on a TV mount that allows us to pull the TV in and out for a better viewing experience. The optical audio cable that came with our sound bar is just not long enough to pull the tv in and out where we want. This Optical Audio Cable is just perfect for our needs because it is long enough to move the tv to any desired place. I also like that this optical audio cable is way thicker and feels stronger and sturdier than our previous one, and I don’t have to worry about tearing it apart. Nice optic cable for anyone looking for something affordable. Cable itself has no twist threading so no need to worry about it getting tangled up.Tips have covers for when not in use and sounds transfer very well.Shipping was quick and as you can see packaging was nice.

I've never used optical audio cable before, and the HDMI cable that I was using to get my friend's new TV to work must have been bad, because I couldn't get the TV's ARC HDMI output to talk to her Sony Bravia home theatre system. Once I hooked up the audio cable, the sound was mind-blowing. I'm amazed and impressed with this cable, and I will be buying more for my own home theater systems.

I was unfamiliar with this optical cable, and it took a little fussing to get the plugs installed properly. Once I did, the sound bar worked fine. One drawback is that volume control now requires a second remote controller. The one on the TV no longer controls the volume (but is still required to change channels, etc.). But the sound is good, and much better volume than the TV itself.

New Bee appears to be a great one. It's feeding our 5.1 surround sound system from our smart TV. 6' run. Audio is very clear and rich. I rated Durability a 4 only because I do not know on this new install. The product appears to be very well constructed. One thing I really appreciate with all audio optical cables, are plastic caps to cover the terminal ends when the cable is not in use. Caps attached to plastic rings that slide on the audio cables keeps the caps from getting lost. It's a finishing touch I appreciate.
